June was a pretty slow month, so it’s fitting that I’m getting to it so late.

I only managed to get in four productive days of writing in the month of June. I traveled in the middle of the month (Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal!), and after returning I sort of took the last week of the month off and spent it getting my sleep back on track and spending time with my needy black cat.

What work I did was on the ongoing (and nearing conclusion) rewrite project for The Shadow of the Ruin, totaling:

  • 4 writing days
  • 5 productive hours resulting in 4,275 words written
  • 2 completed chapters

July will be more productive — promise. If I manage to hit my targets, I should be very close to finishing the rewrite by the end of the month.

If I actually overachieve my targets for a change, I might even finish!
