One week into the month of November, and I’ve made a good start on my goal of pushing to complete the script for The Second Sundering.

Writing between Monday and Friday (and trying my best to avoid being distracted by the uncertain results of the US Presidential Election that was ongoing during some of those days!) I was able to put down 12 chapter scripts, for a total of 14,797 words.

These chapters included some of the most pivotal moments of the novel, and I feel I’ve resolved the remaining questions about how to write those chapters quite satisfactorily. This is the sort of groundwork that lets me write (relatively) quickly when I start the actual prose, so a good feeling after writing the scripts usually translates to good final material.

Similar progress next week would see me finished with scripts and primed to begin writing the first draft. Exciting!
